Living the Glorious Life everyday
Living the Glorious Life everyday
At Glorious Life Christian Fellowship International (GLCFI), our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ. These foundational truths shape our faith, worship, and daily lives as we seek to honour God in all we do.
Scripture: “The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love” (Psalm 145:8).
We believe in one sovereign and loving God who created the heavens and the earth. He is our heavenly Father, who desires a personal relationship with each of us.
Scripture: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem humanity. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we have forgiveness, salvation, and the promise of eternal life.
Scripture: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:26).
We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, who lives within believers, empowering, guiding, and transforming us to live a life that glorifies God.
Scripture: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our guide for life. Through regular Bible reading, we gain wisdom, encouragement, and instruction in living a life that honours God.
Scripture: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).
We believe salvation is a gift given through faith in Jesus Christ. By accepting Jesus as Saviour, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and assured eternal life with Him in heaven.
Scripture: “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life” (Matthew 25:46).
We believe in the existence of heaven and hell. Heaven is the eternal home of believers, where they will dwell in God’s presence. Hell is a place of separation from God, reserved for those who reject His salvation.
Scripture: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6).
We believe prayer is a vital connection with God, through which we communicate, seek guidance, and grow in our relationship with Him.
Scripture: “Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19).
We observe Communion as an act of remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice. By taking the bread and the cup, we honour His death and resurrection, proclaiming His sacrifice until His return.
Scripture: “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet” (John 13:14).
We practice feet washing as an expression of humility, servanthood, and love for one another, following Jesus’ example of serving others selflessly.
Scripture: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ. His second coming will be a time of glory and judgment, fulfilling God’s promise to His people and establishing His eternal kingdom.
Scripture: “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do” (1 Peter 1:15-16).
We believe God calls us to a life of holiness, set apart from sin, and dedicated to honouring Him in every area of our lives through righteous living and obedience.
Scripture: “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy” (Exodus 20:8).
We observe the Sabbath as a time of rest and worship, dedicating this day to honouring God, reflecting on His goodness, and recharging spiritually for the week ahead.
These twelve pillars form the foundation of GLCFI's mission, values, and practices, guiding our community in faith, service, and purpose.
